World famous Penn's Creek, known for its' trout fishing, meets the Susquehanna River at Selinsgrove.
Boating on the Susquehanna has become popular and the Fish Commission has developed access ramps at many locations along the river. The impoundment of the north and west branches of the Susquehanna at Sunbury is a busy boating area complete with marina and boat rentals. Hunters flock to this region each fall to stalk whitetail deer, black bear and wild turkey. Increasingly more and more people are taking advantage of opportunities to stalk wildlife with cameras instead of rifles and shotguns.
